Grilled Stuffed Peppers

Serves: 4 Peppers
One dish meal that looks and taste... Oh Wow!
  • 4 Bell Peppers
  • 1 Jalapeno Pepper
  • 1 Pound Ground Sausage
  • 1 Onion Diced
  • 1 Tomato Diced
  • 4 Cloves Garlic
  • 4 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese
  • 4 Tablespoons Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2 Tablespoon2 Olive Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
Prepare the Stuffing
  1. In large fry pan, heat the Olive Oil to medium heat.
  2. Dice the Onion, mince the Garlic, and add to the pan.
  3. Cook the Onions and Garlic for Approximately 3 minutes.
  4. Dice the Tomato and add to the pan.
  5. Add the Ground Pork and continue to cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Add the Ground Black Pepper and Parmesan Cheese and thoroughly stir.
  7. Remove from heat, cover, and set aside.
Prepare the Pepper
  1. Cut the peppers lengthwise (just to the side of the stem,) and remove the seeds.
  2. Spoon the stuffing into the cut peppers; take care not to overfill the pepper.
  3. If the cut piece of Pepper is large enough, place a small amount of stuffing on it.
Prepare the Grill
  1. Setup your grill for Indirect Cooking
  2. Preheat grill to Medium High
Cook and Serve
  1. Place Peppers on the grill and cook for approximately 25 minutes.
  2. Sprinkle grated Mozzarella Cheese over Peppers and top with small slices of Jalapeno Pepper.
  3. Cook for an additional 5 minutes or until the Mozzarella Cheese melts.
  4. Remove the Grilled Stuffed Peppers and enjoy!
