Stuffed Chicken Breast

Chicken breasts are easy and fast to cook, who doesn’t love them. They cook in 10 minutes and are a crowd pleasier. Sometimes chicken breast dry out to quickly. A great and sure way to fix that is to stuff them. Stuffing them will add flavor and moisture and will make people go “Mmm-mmm,” while they devour the meat. There are many options for stuffing chicken breast, one favorite is simply stuffed with fresh Basil leaves and mozzerella cheese. Enjoy!


  • 2 Large chicken Breast (3/4-1 pound each or 4 smaller breasts)
  • 8 Large Basil Leaves
  • 4 Ounces of Mozzeralla Cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 2 Cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 Teaspoon Course Ground Back Pepper
  • Toothpics


Grill Setup

  • Preheat the grill for Direct grilling High Heat

Prepare the Chicken

  1. Rinse the chicken breast under cold water
  2. Gently slice in the breast to create a pocket and/ or make a flip book. Do not cut all the way through the chicken and try to avoid poking through the top or bottom halves
  3. Place a bed of mozzeralla cheese
  4. Cover with fresh basil leaves
  5. Close the chicken breast and secure with toothpics. Oil the toothpics lightly ahead of time. This will help when removing for serving
  6. Place the chicken in a bowl
  7. Cover the breast with black pepper and minced garlic Fresh. Use a garlic press for the freshest Garlic.
  8. Pour the olive oil and lemon juice onto the chicken breast
  9. Mix all together and let sit for 10-15 minutes




Cook and Serve

  1. Cook 2 minutes and rotate 90 degrees
  2. Cook 2 minutes and flip over
  3. Repeat steps 1 and 2. Total cook time 8-12 minutes
  4. Slice the breast thin for a nice serving presentation
  5. Enjoy!
